Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Power Apps/SQL Developer for our client located in Montgomery, AL.
This position is onsite in Montgomery, AL, and requires in-person availability starting day 1.
Job Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Power Apps developer to work on the design and development of model-driven apps, canvas apps, and power page sites using power platform tools. Duties and responsibilities:
Develop and maintain low-code solutions in Microsoft Power Apps to ensure system requirements are met.
Serve as subject matter expert in low-code development using Microsoft Power Apps.
Responsible for understanding business requirements and transforming business use cases into re-engineering applications in Power Apps
Write plugin code and Java scripts for Power Apps
Write SQL Stored procedures, views, and functions for Power BI dashboards
Write pipelines to extract and load data into dataverse or SQL server
Develop and implement Power Automate flows
Assisted the project manager, database administrator, and other developers with requirements gathering, migration planning, security access, and implementation of dashboards.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience using Power Platform technology in
Developing model-driven and canvas apps using Power Apps
Developing Power Automate cloud flows
Developing dashboards using Power BI
Developing plugin code for Power Apps
Developing Azure pipelines for loading data into dataverse
8+ years of experience in developing SSIS packages, writing SQL queries and stored procedures using SQL server database
8+ years of experience developing solutions in Microsoft .NET technologies using
JavaScript and jQuery
Asp.Net Core, C#, Entity Framework, and LINQ
Strong communication, decision making, organizational skills, and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills to undertake challenging jobs. Able to work well independently and also in a team by helping to troubleshoot technology and business-related problems
Technical Skills
Power Platform tools – Power Apps (Model-driven/Canvas), Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, Azure Pipelines
Database: Microsoft Dataverse, SQL Server, Share point Lists, etc.
SQL SSIS Packages, Stored procedures, Functions, and Views
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Power Apps Development is plus
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
