Manual Testing Technician - 2170

DSR-002170 - Remote - Full Time

Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Testing Technician for our client. This is a remote opportunity to work alongside the federal government.

Job Overview:

When a user tries new software, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful software development – and that means rigorous testing. That’s why we need you, a software test engineer who can learn how to thoroughly test software and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best software possible.

As a tester on our team, you’ll assist developers with evaluating software developed for veterans' affairs. You’ll help build a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using manual processes, you’ll help generate data and execute the test cases to see how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. Team members may have the opportunity to gain skills in automation and development while establishing their software testing experience. Join us as we develop software solutions to help and honor our nation's veterans.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
