Job Overview:

Advanced Systems Design (ASD), Inc., is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join their talented team.  This is an on-site opportunity.  The candidate selected for this role will have responsibility for full-cycle recruitment, client relationship management and compliance management. The Technical Recruiter will provide the best talent to our clients by analyzing the knowledge, skills, and experience of potential candidates. 

Full Cycle Recruitment:

  • Develop recruiting strategies designed to quickly identify qualified candidates through various tools including LinkedIn and Indeed
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates, by building networks and long-term relationships with strong talent and key contacts within the industry, to quickly locate and present the best candidates
  • Track internal candidates by maintaining detailed candidate records including job skills, job placement and relationship developments, as well as communication logs
  • Analyze the information on candidate application forms and resumes, and conduct interviews in-person or through phone/video
  • Evaluate candidates based on a variety of factors including technical ability, cultural fit, experience, education, and communication capabilities
  • Determine the suitability of the applicant for employment. In cases where an applicant is judged unqualified, tactfully turn the applicant away. When the information provided indicates a good potential employee, performs further background reference investigation, i.e., prior employment references, transcripts, etc. to gain adequate information on which to base a selection decision
  • Prepare selected candidate for client-interview and provide interview feedback
  • Finalize salary discussion and close candidate while gauging commitment
  • Initiate the offer letter and on-boarding process by communicating pertinent candidate/client information to the Recruiting Coordinator
  • Facilitate employee referrals
  • Initiate the on-boarding process for client job incumbents, ensuring a seamless transition to ASD
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for ASD, promoting a positive company image to potential candidates through social media and always maintaining respectful communication to both candidates and clients
  • Address any candidate concerns in preliminary discussions regarding ASD benefits and perks information
  • Actively look for ways to improve the recruiting process by remaining up to date on market trends for the IT industry and new and emerging talent acquisition trends

Client Relationship Management:

  • Gather job requirements from ASD operations teams to formulate effective job descriptions that assist in identifying the right candidate for the position
  • Work closely with the Recruiting team, Account Managers, and Human Resources team, to thoroughly understand the technical positions
  • Format resumes to meet specific client expectations and present them to Recruiting Coordinator / Account Manager for consideration
  • Provide support to Business Development by sourcing resumes and conducting salary market analysis

Compliance Management:

  • Remain current on employment law impacting the employee/employer relationship including federal, state, and local laws, and the OFCCP
  • Provide compliance support to Human Resource Director as requested
  • Understand ASD's organizational structure and all applicable personnel policies and procedures
  • Act as liaison to temporary staffing firms

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in recruitment and technology
  • Outstanding attention to detail with impeccable follow-through
  • Creative thinker with self-starter attitude
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and comfort while maintaining sensitive information
  • Strong prioritization, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Possess a professional demeanor with extensive experience working in a client service or customer service role
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity navigating through an Applicant Tracking System and experience utilizing various technical tools to source, screen, and identify qualified candidates is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent years of experience required
    • Degree in related discipline, such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Communications, or IT preferred
