 Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Enterprise Application Integration (EA) Engineer for our client located in Tallahassee, FL.

This position is onsite in Tallahassee, FL, and requires in-person availability starting day 1. Possible hybrid opportunities can be discussed with Hiring Manager.

Job Overview:

  1. Participate in efforts to define the impact the Florida PALM implementation will have on current Department interfaces.
  2. Use subject matter expertise, industry methodologies and best practices to create a plan to migrate current interfaces to begin leveraging more modern technologies such as Informatica.
  3. Detail data element inputs and outputs for Department computing assets interfacing with Department of Financial Services FLAIR. Inputs may include, but not limited to, manual data entry, direct access via scripting solutions, and batch uploads. Outputs can include data extracts, outgoing interfaces, and reports.
  4. Design, develop, test, and deploy data integration solutions with a focus on financial data accuracy and integrity.
  5. Collaborates with stakeholders and cross-functional teams in the Office of the Comptroller to understand financial data requirements and develop financial reporting data models that can be used for further analysis.
  6. Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate data integration tools and technologies, with a focus on financial data security and efficiency.
  7. Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data integration solutions.
  8. Mentor current FDOT staff on best practices for leveraging Informatica tools.
  9. Create documentation for financial data integration processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating knowledge transfer within the team.
  10. Must adhere to existing development standards and develop detailed source to target technical mapping and specification documents.
  11. Ensures compliance with financial data regulations and industry standards.
  12. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members to ensure successful implementation of financial data integration projects.
  13. Work with reports remediation team to ensure their data requirements for the FPST project are met.
  14. Participate in SCRUM meetings including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in systems integrations and/or ETL (extract, transform, and load). Candidate will be expected to describe multiple past experiences with integration tools such as Informatica and Microsoft SSIS and how they were deployed for a successful outcome.
  • Data Integration experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines with IICS services and Strong relational database SQL analysis knowledge with DB2 on ZOS, SQL Server, Azure SQL, Snowflake Data Cloud. Strong Data Integration experience with Power Exchange Connectors for ZOS in Informatica Cloud CDI.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working with Informatica Cloud data integration services like Cloud Data Integration, Mass Ingestion, App Integration, Data Quality and Cloud Data Governance Catalog.
  • Strong SQL skills in DB2 v12, SQL Server and Snowflake.
  • Minimum 7+ years of Informatica Cloud Data Integration experience. 
  • Minimum 3+ years of implementing Cloud Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse architectures with Snowflake Data Cloud. 
  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently. 
  • Knowledge of Agile Project Management methodologies and practices. 
  • Knowledge of the SCRUM Framework. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Informatica Cloud CDI certification and Snowflake Data Cloud Certification
  • Data Integration experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines with IICS services and Strong relational database SQL analysis knowledge with DB2 on ZOS, SQL Server, Azure SQL, Snowflake Data Cloud, Oracle. 
  • Data Integration experience with Power Exchange Connectors for ZOS.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. Work experience can substitute on a year for year basis for the degree. Special consideration will be given to candidates with Informatica certification.
